ArtVisions creates comprehensive marketing programs for artists, focusing on opportunities to license your work.

ArtVisions' marketing service currently includes a web page, email marketing and direct mail marketing.

We invest heavily in the artist's marketing program and are very particular about the art and artists we accept.

Some of the costs involved in producing your customized marketing materials are paid by the artist, but our income is derived from a commission based on licensing fees we generate for you.

ArtVisions creates comprehensive marketing programs for artists, focusing on opportunities to license your work.

We get your artwork seen by manufacturing/publishing industry decision makers and, as your licensing agent, negotiate royalty agreements for their use of your art. A single piece of your work could be licensed to appear on several different products; for example, calendars, notecards, textiles, and posters. Licensing generates revenue in the form of fees and royalties, paid over time.

The market for licensing of artworks in various products is huge, reaching over $5 billion in US retail sales in 1997 (Art Business News, June 1998). Your art could generate thousands of dollars each year. 

Working principally via direct mail marketing campaigns, we design & print marketing tearsheets in full-color and marketing letters. These materials are created from slides or photos of your art. We include information about you in the marketing letter to generate interest by prospective buyers, and mail your materials on a regular basis to ArtVisions' targeted list of publishers, manufacturers and others who may require art.

=====| WHAT IS LICENSING |=====

Licensing your art is agreeing to accept payment of a fee for a specific use of a designated number of copies of your artwork for a limited period of time, in a defined geographic area. The same piece of art can be licensed many times, for the same or different uses.

WHAT WE DO:

ArtVisions provides consulting and marketing services designed to earn royalty income for you from the licensing of your art.

HOW WE DO IT

We work primarily via direct mail marketing campaigns. Working from your slides and other information from you, ArtVisions creates & prints a full-color marketing package for you, including a tearsheet. We periodically mail marketing packages to ArtVisions' targeted list of publishers & manufacturers. We charge only for a portion of the time & materials to design, edit, print and mail your unique marketing package.

WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT

You get marketing materials, created especially for you. You get ArtVisions' comprehensive marketing program. You get a written contract. You get a web page on ArtVisions' site for a limited time. And, you get the opportunity to be paid for the use of your art!
